Our Story
Futures 4 Foster Youth was founded by a former foster youth who turned his passion for helping children into a thriving business. After starting a successful kids’ entertainment venture, he created this nonprofit arm to continue putting children and youth first. Our work has been featured in news outlets nationwide. From coast to coast, our team has raised funds and awareness for foster youth, helping to bring light to their struggles and needs.

WHY THE FOSTER CARE CRISIS IS IMPORTANT
Every day, over 400,000 children in the U.S. are in foster care, with 33% experiencing instability through multiple placements. Nearly 20% of those who age out face homelessness. This crisis is fueled by a lack of licensed foster homes, parental substance use, and systemic challenges. The foster care crisis disproportionately affects Black children and those living in poverty. We are here to make sure these youth are not forgotten.

At Futures 4 Foster Youth, we focus on real solutions to the everyday challenges faced by foster youth. Each of our programs is designed to address critical needs and provide long-term support.
Sibling Reunification

We believe in the power of family. Our sibling reunification program creates safe, fun environments for foster siblings to reunite and spend quality time together. We host events at local family entertainment centers, starting with our partner FUNBOX, giving siblings the opportunity to reconnect and create lasting memories.
Girl Essentials Program

Young women aging out of the foster care system often lack access to basic personal care items. Our Girl Essentials Program allows them to order what they need through our online portal, free of charge, and have it shipped directly to their door. This program helps them regain a sense of dignity and confidence.
Housing and Transportation Support
Transitioning out of foster care is tough, and housing instability is a major hurdle. Through our partnerships with trusted sister agencies, we provide housing and transportation assistance, ensuring that aging-out youth have a safe place to live and a way to get where they need to go.
Loan Assistance for Aged-Out Youth
Foster youth often face financial barriers when transitioning into adulthood. We offer loan assistance programs to help them cover essential costs, such as education, job training, or transportation. This program is designed to give them the financial footing they need to thrive.
No More Trash Bags
Too many foster youth move between placements with their belongings in trash bags. We provide sturdy, durable cases for youth in transition, giving them a dignified way to carry their possessions as they navigate the foster care system.
